Well, I got to say my favorite festival is Spring Festival. Living and working in Shanghai, I make sure that every year I go back to my hometown for Spring Festival because it helps to keep connected to my roots, my culture, my values, my origin. In other words, I can always feel a sense of belonging celebrating this festival with my family and friends in my hometown. Therefore, Spring Festival helps us come together and celebrate, which is really important because I spend most of the time in another city, practically disconnected with them. It is also a time to forget all the chaos of life and to embrace good hopes. Life is hard in a big city, so when I’m back to my hometown, a small city, I always feel relaxed and after the holiday, I get “recharged” and ready to face the life in Shanghai.
